Art Expression As a Form of Worship
Creating art is another way of expressing our gratitude for the gifts God has given us, as , and as way of hearing God speak to us...Prophetic Art.
Prophetic art is working from a place of prayer, a word from God. It is prayer and meditation prior to applying brush to canvas, allowing God to speak to you through the medium and the motion. Every time I do this work, I hope that someone in the congregation is touched by the work that God produces through me. I usually am not prepared for how God moves me in the process. A form of prayer, a form of worship, a way of healing, a direct connection to God, this is my personal conversation with my Heavenly Father.

The painting was completed in progression, during the three weekend services at Plymouth Covenant Church. The piece was to coincide with Pastor Dan's message, "Firstfruits." Look up Plymouth Covenant Church at www.plymouthcovenant.org and come for a service, stay for coffee and fellowship, and see the various art work on the walls of the Turtle Lake Cafe. Everyone is welcome.
